EEO/AA General Summary This faculty role collaborates with the Education and Nonprofit (ENP) Senior Team in developing future clients in the education/nonprofit sector as well as maintaining existing relationships. As a subject matter expert, this person designs, develops, and modifies offerings to ensure optimal presentation of the CCL portfolio of capabilities, materials, products, and services to meet client needs. This role partners with internal staff to facilitate quality delivery of education/non-profit sector programs and initiatives. Working in collaboration with the ENP Group Director and Managers this person assists in the procurement of external resources to support third party and grant funded activities. This position serves as program manager and lead trainer for assigned ENP programs and provides training support to other custom and open enrollment programs Identifies, develops, and contracts with education/nonprofit sector clients using integrated, detailed knowledge of CCL capabilities to deliver customized programming and services. With the client, engages in a number of discovery processes to assess client needs and determine desired learning outcomes. Aligns outcomes to CCL portfolio and sells CCL’s ability to deliver outcomes. Using sound adult learning principles and the breadth of CCL’s capabilities, designs, develops, and delivers quality leadership development solutions to include custom program modules and materials that are aligned with client outcomes. Expertly facilitates group process; reads and responds to climate issues; provides quality facilitation that significantly deepens program impact. Collaborates with CCL staff on the development of new program designs including the development of content, exercises, cases, and simulations. Expands the CCL portfolio of offerings for both potential and existing ENP sector clients through collaborative, innovation efforts. Develops and/or strengthens multiple internal relationships by working closely with ENP Project Managers, ENP Managers, Campus, Global Marketing, Global Sales, Global Products Development, Communication, Design Center, Client Services, and other groups to insure client satisfaction and operational efficiencies. Supports efforts to secure grant and third party funding. Participates in appropriate research projects and new initiatives. Skills & Experience Education Requires a Ph.D. in educational leadership/administration, nonprofit leadership, curriculum, I/O psychology or other related field or MS in a social sciences or business field. Experience/Work Background Minimum eight years’ experience working in education/nonprofit sector; may include experience in corporate business and/or OD fields. Proven experience working in or consulting with leaders in K-12 and higher education. Expertise in the development of complex customized leadership development solutions for individual leaders as well as system-level change initiatives. International work experience and executive coaching is a plus. Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Exceptional knowledge of relevant content areas, including the fields of education and nonprofit management/leadership, organizational development, adult learning theory, and human capital development. Strong facilitation and program delivery skills. Demonstrated ability to develop ENP business and drive revenue. Demonstrated ability to work with and influence upper middle management to senior executives in K-12 education, higher education, and nonprofit organizations displaying executive presence in the classroom. Effective interpersonal skills (for interaction with clients, participants, and staff). Ability to perform successfully as a solo, team, or lead trainer across a wide range of programs. Flexible, adaptable with clients, colleagues and organization needs. Exceptional organizational and planning skills. Creates basic program designs and works using a design methodology such as D6. Significant experience using technology options for facilitating learning – i.e. webinars, podcasts, online simulations, etc. Demonstrates knowledge and subject matter expertise of all programs and current research for more than one practice area.
